But then Americana had a 23-14 second period charge getting the lead and Ourinhos was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 60-76. Americana forced 29 Ourinhos turnovers. The former international center Clarissa Dos Santos (187-88) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Karla da Costa (173-78) contributed with 21 points and 6 steals for the winners. Americana's coach Luiz Augusto Zanon allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International point guard Joice Rodrigues (168-86) replied with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ana Flavia Sackis (169-83) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Ourinhos.
