Regular Season Round 129: Oklah.City T. - Utah Jazz 110-87

Oklahoma City • Al Jefferson’s ankle is fine. Paul Millsap’s right knee is better. Yet, the limp to the finish line of this boondoggle of a season for the Utah Jazz continued Wednesday, where they lost 110-87 to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Jazz were outscored 21-9 in the second quarter and were shooting just 22.7 percent from the field at halftime. The Jazz are 3-8 since the All-Star break and remained half a game behind the Lakers for eighth in the West after Los Angeles lost in Atlanta. The Jazz shot 35 percent from the floor, their worst percentage of the season. Marvin Williams, Gordon Hayward and Enes Kanter all received technical fouls, while DeMarre Carroll was whistled for a flagrant foul in the third quarter when he leveled Kevin Durant with a shoulder. The play mirrored one in the Jazz’s win over Oklahoma City in February when Durant took out Alec Burks in transition.
