Rather predictable result when fourteenth ranked Farul Const. (6-21) beat on the road bottom-ranked CS Dinamo Bucuresti (1-26) 77-68. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 24-19. But CS Dinamo Bucuresti won second period 23-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Farul Const. won last quarter 19-12. Farul Const. outrebounded CS Dinamo Bucuresti 42-29 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Jeremi Booth (195-87, college: Appalachian St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. Center Marian Minea (203-85) accounted for 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Brian Fisher (191-88, college: Winston Salem) came up with 25 points and 4 steals and the other American import guard Spencer Dixon (182, college: Kennesaw St.) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for CS Dinamo Bucuresti in the defeat. Newly promoted Farul Const. maintains fourteenth place with 6-21 record. CS Dinamo Bucuresti lost their sixth game in a row. They stay dead last with 26 lost games. Farul Const.'s next round opponent will be higher ranked CSU Sibiu (#10) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CS Dinamo Bucuresti will play against the league's second-placed Targu Mures (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
