Regular Season Round 131: Milwaukee B. - Miami Heat 94-107

Date: March 15, 2013
Chris Bosh took his turn in the spotlight as the Miami Heat extended its winning streak to 21 games with a 107-94 victory over the Bucks on Friday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The Heat center finished with 28 points as Miami moved past the 1970-’71 Bucks in the record books, standing alone with the third-longest winning streak in NBA history. Miami (50-14) can tie Houston for the second-longest streak by posting No. 22 in a row on Sunday in Toronto. LeBron James also scored 28 points and Dwyane Wade added 20 despite a scare when he fell hard to the floor in the first quarter and briefly had to leave the game. Bosh hit 12 of 16 shots and was drilling his medium-range jumper throughout the game. James added 10 rebounds and seven assists in 38 minutes. The Bucks made a run early in the fourth quarter to trim a 16-point deficit to 85-79. But Shane Battier drilled a three-pointer and Bosh scored in the lane as the Heat restored order. Bucks center Larry Sanders was ejected for the second straight game when he picked up two technical fouls with 2 minutes 44 seconds remaining. Ersan Ilyasova led the Bucks (32-32) with 26 points and 17 rebounds and Brandon Jennings added 21 points. J.J. Redick added 14 off the bench and Marquis Daniels had 14 while taking defensive duties against James. The Bucks lost their third straight game after winning six of their previous seven.
