Semi-Finals Game 1: Maccabi Ashdod - Elitzur Holon 86-64

The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Ashdod. Elitzur Holon was better in fourth quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Ashdod dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Elitzur Holon's 40. They outrebounded Elitzur Holon 49-26 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Maccabi Ashdod players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Elitzur Holon's players. The game was also dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Charde Houston (185-86, college: Connecticut, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Ashley Shields (180-85, college: SW Tenn.St.CC) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four Maccabi Ashdod players scored in double figures. Maccabi Ashdod's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Avery Warley (190-87, college: Liberty) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and guard Alexis Hornbuckle (180-85, college: Tennessee) added 15 points in the effort for Elitzur Holon.
