Uniceub/BRB surged ahead early in the game. They cleared off to a 13-point advantage at the first break 21:8. Brasilia kept their opponents at safe distance throughout the second quarter. Uniceub/BRB piled up a 41:26 halftime lead. The Brazilian champions recorded an 18-point advantage heading into the fourth stanza. Sao Jose/Unimed managed just 14 points in the final quarter as Uniceub/BRB coasted to the win at the end. Alex Ribeiro notched 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists, while Welington dos Santos provided 13 points in the win. Fulvio de Assis answered with 19 points for Sao Jose/Unimed. Murilo Becker chipped in 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the loss.
