The game without a history. Olimpia GrGAU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Sozh Gomel's 26. Olimpia GrGAU forced 22 Sozh Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 51-39 including 18 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international Maryia Filonchyk (187-92) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Russian-Ukrainian center Lyubov Alyoshkina (203-81) accounted for 12 points and 13 rebounds. Five Olimpia GrGAU players scored in double figures. Forward Olga Kopylova (187-82) came up with 15 points and Katsiaryna Nialepka (178-93) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Sozh Gomel in the defeat. Sozh Gomel's coach Anatol Rogozenko gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
