Semi-Finals Game 2: Americana - Maranhao 76-59

Americana cruised past Maranhao to clinch the birth in the Final. The game was mostly controlled by Americana. Maranhao managed to win fourth quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Maranhao to just 7 points in first quarter. Americana forced 20 Maranhao turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international center Clarissa Dos Santos (187-88) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Karla da Costa (173-78) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Americana players scored in double figures. International swingman Iziane Castro Marques (182-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and the former international swingman Bethania Vasconcelos (179-81) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
