Uniceub/BRB will play in Liga Americas Final Four. They knocked down Pioneros de Quintana Roo to advance into the next round. Pioneros slipped at 1-2 record in Group E and got eliminated from the title race. Uniceub/BRB shocked the hosts in the opening half. The Brazilian champions posted a 20:9 lead after ten minutes of action. The gap grew wider in the second quarter. Uniceub/BRB gained a 40:19 halftime lead. Pioneros de Quintana got closer in the third term. The Mexican team trimmed the deficit at 19-point mark at the final intermission. Uniceub/BRB fired 24 points in the fourth frame and cruised to the win at the end. Guilherme Giovannoni knocked down 29 points and grabbed 10 boards to lead the winners. Welington dos Santos added 19 points and 13 assists for Uniceub/BRB. Forrest Fisher responded with 13 points for Pioneros. Hector Hernandez chipped in 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the loss.
