Tonight, in front of 2,685 fans at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning won their first playoff game against the Moncton Miracles with a score of 106-80. The game was the first in the best of five semi-final round. The leading scorer this evening was Elvin Mims with 26 points and six rebounds. Said Mims: "Offense wins games and defense wins championships, so after halftime we focused on the defense. In the end, we took care of the ball." Other leading scorers included Adrian Moss with 17 points, DeAnthony Bowden with 15 points and Jeremy Williams with 11 points. The leading rebounder to- night was Tim Ellis with 10. "We played a tough game and just kept pushing and it worked out for us," said Adrian Moss. "We're playing Lightning basketball."
