The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Wisla Can-Pak won fourth quarter 14-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Julie McBride (165-82, college: Syracuse) stepped up and scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international forward Agnieszka Szott (185-82, agency: Data Plus Group) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. At the losing side center Tina Charles (193-88, college: Connecticut, agency: LBM Management) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Australian point guard Erin Phillips (173-85) scored 13 points and 4 assists.
