Regular Season Round 54: Halychyna - Dnipro 69-67

Eleventh-ranked Dnipro (15-24) was very close to win a game against fifth ranked Halychyna (24-15) in Lviv. Halychyna managed to secure only two-point victory 69-67. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Dnipro won fourth quarter 24-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Halychyna players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Dnipro helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Michael Lee (207-86) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (202-89) who recorded 23 points and American point guard Derrick Low (188-86, college: Washington St.) added 12 points and 9 assists respectively. Halychyna moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Khimik. Dnipro at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 24 games lost.
