Nova Ves overcame Prievidza to gain 2-1 lead in the series. The teams will meet again on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Nova Ves. Prievidza managed to win third quarter 27-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American point guard Maurice Acker (178-87, college: Marquette) who led his team to a victory scoring 32 points and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Joseph Harris (196-87, college: Co.Carolina, agency: Dynamics Global Management) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and international Michal Batka (204-87) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five Nova Ves and four Prievidza players scored in double figures. Prievidza's coach Krunoslav Krajnovic rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
