Quarter-Finals Round 4: Prievidza - Nova Ves 94-83

Prievidza gained the second win in the quarterfinal series versus Nova Ves and forced the decisive fifth game. The game was mostly controlled by Prievidza. Nova Ves managed to win third quarter 30-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Prievidza won last quarter 27-17. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Prievidza outrebounded Nova Ves 38-27 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Prievidza made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard David Godbold (196-85, college: Oklahoma) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds and international Michal Batka (204-87) who added 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Prievidza players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Maurice Acker (178-87, college: Marquette) responded with 30 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import point guard N'Gai Evans (188-88, college: Wright St.) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds.
