The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Uppsala Basket won third quarter 23-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Sodertalje Kings won last quarter 19-19. They made 18-of-19 charity shots (94.7 percent) during the game. American center Kenneth Simms (203-86, college: Cumberland) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Bosnian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Sodertalje Kings' coach Vedran Bosnic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American point guard Thomas Jackson (175-80, college: Butler) replied with 21 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Johan Jeansson (198-85) added 18 points in the effort for Uppsala Basket.
