Bottom-ranked Tijuana Zonkeys is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to seventh ranked Fuerza Guinda Nogales (2-2) 89-76. It looked good early as Tijuana Zonkeys took an 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Fuerza Guinda Nogales took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 13 points. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Tijuana Zonkeys' players. American guard Dallas Logan (193-82, college: Northwood) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. Bahamas power forward Ryan Moss (200-74, college: UALR) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. Fuerza Guinda Nogales' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American center Gene Shipley (206-80, college: Brandon) produced 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import forward James Penny (198-76, college: TCU) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Fuerza Guinda Nogales moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cananea and Hermosillo. Tijuana Zonkeys at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost.
