The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-16. But Marghera won second period 16-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Udine won last quarter 13-10. The best player for the winners was naturalized Brazilian swingman Tayara Madonna (173-91) who scored 18 points. Center Angela Ratti (185-83) chipped in 6 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Carla Fabris (185-86) produced 10 points and 9 rebounds and Bulgarian swingman Daniela Georgieva (184-86) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests.
