The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Toyota Alvark won third quarter 16-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 22 rebounds. Senegalese swingman Mamadou Diouf (197-77, college: Delaware) chipped in 2 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Keijuro Matsui (188-85, college: Columbia) who recorded 16 points and American forward Jeff Gibbs (188-80, college: Otterbein) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Five Toyota Alvark players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
