Quarter-Finals Round 3: Spojnia - AZS Kutno 79-80

AZS Kutno escaped with a narrow road win over Spojnia to reach the semis. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Spojnia won fourth quarter 23-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for point guard Dawid Brek (185-89, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Forward Jakub Dluski (200-87) helped adding 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four AZS Kutno players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Lukasz Ratajczak (204-86, agency: Promotex) with 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and guard Tomasz Stepien (193-86) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Spojnia's coach Ireneusz Purwiniecki tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
