Rivas Ecopolis cruised past Cadi ICG S. to open the semifinal series with victory. The game without a history. Rivas Ecopolis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Cadi ICG S.'s 26. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Queralt Casas (178-92) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. International point guard Anna Cruz (173-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Rivas Ecopolis' coach Miguel Mendez felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Aja Parham (183-84, college: Boston Coll.) answered with 15 points and Senegalese power forward Astou Traore (182-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 13 points in the effort for Cadi ICG S.
