Semi-Finals Game 1: Brahe Basket - Boras II 81-69

The game was mostly controlled by Brahe Basket. Boras II managed to win third quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Brahe Basket forced 28 Boras II turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Boras II helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Matthew Cavalieri (198-89, college: Springfield) stepped up and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Jamaican center Hugh Robinson (202-83) chipped in 9 points and 12 rebounds. Cavalieri is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side point guard Adam Andersson (188-91) responded with 16 points and guard Robin Ryan (193-87) scored 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
