Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Tbilisi: Dinamo Tbilisi (#5) and STU (#11). Dinamo Tbilisi (13-7) smashed visiting STU (1-19) by 23 points 111-88. The game was mostly controlled by Dinamo Tbilisi. STU managed to win fourth quarter 28-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dinamo Tbilisi dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to STU's 34. Dinamo Tbilisi had a 32-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American forward Flynn Clayman (206-88, college: Cumberlands, agency: Three Eye Sports) scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Keyon Carter (203-88, college: ODU, agency: Two Points) chipped in 29 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side forward Tato Chachibaia (201-90) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and forward Giorgi Kvetenadze (201-90) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four STU players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dinamo Tbilisi have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 13-7 record. STU at the other side stay dead last with 19 lost games.
