Parma trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 20-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 64-71 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Kathrin Ress (196-85, college: Boston Coll.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Adrienne Johnson (182-89, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Lucca players scored in double figures. New Zealand-American forward Jillian Harmon (185-87, college: Stanford) answered with 26 points and 7 rebounds and Croatian center Sonja Kireta (198-76) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Parma.
