TBL top team - PGE Turow (22-9) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Energa Czarni (16-14) in Slupsk 76-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Energa Czarni. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-66. Bosnian-Croatian Ivan Opacak (201-80, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) stepped up and scored 26 points for the winners and the former international power forward Damian Kulig (206-87) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M, agency: N.E.T.) with 10 points and 6 rebounds and forward Michal Nowakowski (202-88) scored 11 points. Energa Czarni's coach Andrej Urlep let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for PGE Turow. They maintain first place in Places 1-6 with 22-9 record. Energa Czarni at the other side keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. PGE Turow will face Stelmet ZG (#3) in Zielona Gora in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Energa Czarni will play on the road against Stelmet ZG in Zielona Gora.
