Paulistano prevailed against Basquete Caerense at home court to take 1-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as SKY/Basquete took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Paulistano had a 35-7 second period charge getting the lead and SKY/Basquete was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-95. Paulistano dominated on the defensive end, holding SKY/Basquete to just 7 points in second quarter. They made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Paulistano had a 31-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage.
