Quarter-Finals Round 3: Parnu - Tarvas 71-82

Tarvas stole a road win over Parnu to complete the sweep of the quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by BC Rakvere. KK Parnu was better in third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when BC Rakvere won last quarter 20-10. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. BC Rakvere forced 22 KK Parnu turnovers. Strangely KK Parnu outrebounded BC Rakvere 53-31 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. KK Parnu was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a quality performance for Latvian forward Maris Laksa (205-81, college: Providence) who led the winners and scored 25 points. The former international point guard Reimo Tamm (185-84) accounted for 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. International center Rain Raadik (208-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 22 rebounds and Lithuanian guard Augustas Peciukevicius (192-91) added 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for KK Parnu in the defeat.
