Second Stage Round 5: Kumanovo - Rabotnicki 88-86

The most exciting game of round 5 in the Prva Liga took place in Kumanovo. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Fersped-Rabotnicki (10-9) to fifth ranked Kumanovo 2009 (9-10) 88-86 on Wednesday evening. Fersped-Rabotnicki cut a 17-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Fersped-Rabotnicki helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Anthony Lee-Ingram (195-88, college: Brescia, KY, agency: Beo Basket) stepped up and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and international guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Aleksandar Dimitrovski (193-80) responded with 23 points and Serbian power forward Nemanja Jelesijevic (210-79) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Fersped-Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. Kumanovo 2009 maintains fifth place with 9-10 record. Fersped-Rabotnicki at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. Kumanovo 2009 is looking forward to face league's second-placed Feni Indistrija in Kavadarci in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fersped-Rabotnicki's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena Lirija.
