Palma outgunned Guadalajara on the road to surge ahead in the series. The guests trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 42-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 25 personal fouls committed by CB Guadalajara helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Jason Blair (201-79, college: San Diego, agency: SDJ Sports) fired 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Ivan Matemalas (193-80) chipped in 23 points. point guard Sergio Llorente (188-90) produced 23 points and 8 assists and center Jose Balmon (204-81) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five CB Guadalajara players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
