Finals Game 1: AZS AWF K-ce - WKK Wroclaw 86-71

AZS Katowice outgunned WKK Wroclaw to take the lead in the series. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when AZS AWF K-ce's pressure prevailed and they won that period 25-15 extending their advantage to 15 points. They made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Point guard Marcin Ecka (184-78) stepped up and scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and guard Marceli Dziemba (190-92) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Five AZS AWF K-ce players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international swingman Bartosz Diduszko (198-87) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and the former international power forward Miroslaw Lopatka (213-77, agency: Promotex) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
