Finals Game 3: Grindavik - Stjarnan 89-101

Stjarnan stole a road win over Grindavik to pull ahead in the Finals. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 56-41 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Stjarnan dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Grindavik's 32. Stjarnan had a 37-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Brian Mills (203-88, college: Mercer, agency: Pro One Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Naturalized American guard Justin Shouse (180-81, college: Mercyhurst) helped adding 20 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Aaron Broussard (195-90, college: Seattle) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import point guard Sammy Zeglinski (182-88, college: Virginia) scored 25 points and 7 assists. Five Stjarnan and four Grindavik players scored in double figures.
