Very expected game in Giessen where 18th ranked LTi 46ers (4-29) were crushed by second ranked EWE Baskets (24-9) 90-59 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-59. EWE Baskets made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 LTi 46ers turnovers. American guard Mustafa Abdul-Hamid (188-88, college: UCLA) stepped up and scored 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Chris Kramer (191-88, college: Purdue) chipped in 11 points, 5 assists and 5 steals.
