Semi-Finals Game 4: Inter Bratislava - Nitra 87-82

Inter Bratislava outgunned Nitra to take 3-1 lead in the series. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-15. But Nitra won third quarter 27-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Nitra's 24. They outrebounded Nitra 41-26 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Inter Bratislava players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by American forward Alando Tucker (198-84, college: Wisconsin, agency: Priority Sports) who scored that evening 24 points and 7 rebounds and the former international power forward Martin Rancik (204-78, college: Iowa St.) supported him with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Even 24 points by American swingman David Noel (199-84, college: N.Carolina) did not help to save the game for Nitra. His fellow American import guard Patrick Sparks (184-83, college: Kentucky, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) added 14 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for lost side.
