Olimpi outrebounded TSU 50-34 including a 40-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Greek-Estonian point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (181-89) notched 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and international Akaki Dvalishvili (206-90) supported him with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Olimpi players scored in double figures. Olimpi's coach George Kazanjian felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by point guard Givi Bakradze (185-91, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) did not help to save the game for TSU. Guard George Khaniashvili (194-89) added 13 points and 5 assists for the hosts.
