Very predictable result when third ranked ratiopharm Ulm (24-10) beat at home 10th ranked Walter Tigers (16-18) 95-84. It looked good early as Walter Tigers took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then ratiopharm Ulm had a 26-15 second period charge getting the lead and Walter Tigers were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 84-95. ratiopharm Ulm players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American center John Bryant (208-87, college: Santa Clara) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Allan Ray (188-84, college: Villanova) supported him with 15 points and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 16 points and 17 rebounds by the former international Johannes Lischka (203-87, agency: LUMANI 10.7) did not help to save the game for Walter Tigers. American guard Vaughn Duggins (190-87, college: Wright St., agency: Pro One Sports) added 25 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ratiopharm Ulm have an impressive five-game winning streak.
