PGE Turow dominated Polpharma to open win count in the series. The game was mostly controlled by PGE Turow. Polpharma managed to win fourth quarter 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Polpharma 43-25 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. PGE Turow looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international power forward Damian Kulig (206-87) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and the former international point guard Michal Chylinski (190-86, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 13 points and 5 assists. Four PGE Turow players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Uros Mirkovic (205-82, agency: BeoExcell) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Michael Hicks (193-83, college: Central Mo., agency: Court Side) added 14 points respectively for Polpharma in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
