We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked MZT Skopje (6-1) smashed at home 5th ranked Kumanovo 2009 (10-11) 112-75 on Saturday. The game without a history. MZT Skopje led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. MZT Skopje outrebounded Kumanovo 2009 42-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Dalman Noa fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners. International power forward Kiril Nikolovski (210-88) chipped in 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. International guard Aleksandar Kostoski (186-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) produced 22 points and Serbian center Uros Lukovic (212-89) added 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Four Kumanovo 2009 players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains sixth place in Liga with 6-1 record. Kumanovo 2009 at the other side keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. MZT Skopje's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena Lirija.
