Quarter-Finals Round 2: PGE Turow - Polpharma 96-62

PGE Turow clinched the second straight home win over Polpharma. The game was mostly controlled by PGE Turow. Polpharma was better in third quarter 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. PGE Turow looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Polpharma was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international point guard Michal Chylinski (190-86, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 7 assists. Serbian center Ivan Zigeranovic (212-84, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five PGE Turow players scored in double figures. PGE Turow's coach Miodrag Rajkovic felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian power forward Uros Mirkovic (205-82, agency: BeoExcell) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Michael Hicks (193-83, college: Central Mo., agency: Court Side) added 21 points in the effort for Polpharma.
