Rather predictable result when ninth ranked KAOD (10-15) edged 11th ranked Ilysiakos (7-17) in Athens 76-74 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 21-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jason Rowe (178-78, college: Loyola, MD, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Montenegrin power forward Nemanja Radovic (206-91, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Periklis Dorkofikis (206-80) answered with 11 points and 9 rebounds and Nigerian-American forward Aloysius Anagonye (203-81, college: Michigan St.) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Ilysiakos. Four Ilysiakos players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KAOD maintains ninth place with 10-15 record. Ilysiakos lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 17 games lost. KAOD will face Panelefsiniakos (#11) in Eleusina in the next round.
