Quarter-Finals Round 3: Bauru - Franca 87-78

Bauru celebrated the second consecutive home win and grabbed 2-1 lead in the series. It looked good early as Vivo/Franca took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Paschoalotto/Bauru had a 25-17 second period charge getting the lead and Vivo/Franca was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-87. They outrebounded Vivo/Franca 42-18 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward DeAndre Coleman (201-86, college: S.Alabama) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. International guard Larry Taylor (185-80, college: Missouri Western) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Caue Borges dos Santos (180-91) answered with 19 points and forward Leonardo Meindl (200-93) added 17 points and 4 blocks in the effort for Vivo/Franca. Five Paschoalotto/Bauru and four Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures.
