Palma Air Europe defeated Clinicas Rincon in the Finals opener. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 15 points. Palma forced 20 Clinicas Rincon turnovers. Haitian-American center Robert Joseph (204-78, college: Union, TN) fired 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Jason Blair (201-79, college: San Diego, agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. Bosnian-Serbian forward Dejan Todorovic (-94) produced 12 points and point guard Jose Pozas (184-92) added 9 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
