The game was mostly controlled by ratiopharm Ulm. Artland Dragons managed to win second period 31-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for American center John Bryant (208-87, college: Santa Clara) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. International Philipp Schwethelm (201-89, agency: Pro One Sports) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American-Cypriot power forward Anthony King (206-85, college: Miami, FL, agency: Interperformances) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian center Petar Popovic (211-79) added 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Artland Dragons.
