Quarter-Finals Round 4: Energa Czarni - Stelmet ZG 90-76

Energa Czarni overcame Stelmet ZG at home court to force the decisive fifth game in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Energa Czarni. Stelmet ZG was better in fourth quarter 26-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Energa Czarni made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Stelmet ZG turnovers. Stelmet ZG was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Roderick Trice (191-84, college: S.Carolina) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. The other American import center Bertengeh Gadri-Nicholson (208-83, college: Denver) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Energa Czarni players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: Beo Basket) replied with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian power forward Oliver Stevic (204-84, agency: Beo Basket) added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Stelmet ZG. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
