Regular Season Round 30: Galatasaray - Turk Telekom 89-73

TBL top team - Galatasaray (27-3) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Turk Telekom (8-22) in Istanbul 89-73. The game was mostly controlled by Galatasaray. Turk Telekom was better in fourth quarter 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Turk Telekom 52-28 including a 22-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Serbian Milan Macvan (205-89, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Puerto Rican point guard Carlos Arroyo (188-79, college: FIU, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Can Ugur Ogut (178-92) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and Croatian power forward Drago Pasalic (208-84) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Galatasaray have an impressive 17-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 27-3 record. Turk Telekom lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 22 games lost.
