Quarter-Finals Round 4: S.Jose/Unimed - Brasilia 84-70

Sao Jose/Unimed shot down Brasilia at home court to even the series at 2-2. The game was mostly controlled by Sao Jose/Vinac. Brasilia managed to win second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Brasilia 37-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Brasilia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international power forward Murilo Becker (210-83) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International swingman Dede Stefanelli (196-84) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Sao Jose/Vinac players scored in double figures. International forward Guilherme Giovannoni (203-80, agency: Interperformances) produced 18 points and the former international point guard Welington Dos Santos (185-81) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Brasilia's coach Jose Carlos Vidal rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
