Quarter-Finals Round 1: San Antonio S. - Golden St.W. 129-127 2OT

Date: May 6, 2013
Manu Ginobili buried a 3-pointer from the left wing with 1.2 seconds left in the second overtime Monday night, lifting the Spurs to a 129-127 victory over the visiting Warriors in Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinals series. The Spurs trailed by as many as 18 points and were down 16 with less than four minutes left in the fourth quarter before a furious rally forced overtime. Tony Parker led the way with 28 points, eight assists and eight rebounds and Danny Green knocked down six 3-pointers en route to 22 points as San Antonio won its fifth straight playoff game. Stephen Curry played all 58 minutes and finished with 44 points and 11 assists, including the pass that led to Kent Bazemore's go-ahead layup with 3.9 seconds left in the second overtime that gave the Warriors a brief lead. Harrison Barnes added 19 points and 12 rebounds and Klay Thompson scored 19 before fouling out during the Spurs' rally at the end of the fourth. Ginobili came up short on a 3-pointer from the top of the key that led to a long rebound and Bazemore's transition layup. Ginobili was left open on a defensive switch at the other end as the Golden State tried to guard an inbounds pass, and he banged home the winner. The Warriors led 104-88 with less than four minutes left before the Spurs made a run. Parker scored six straight and scooped in a transition layup to highlight a 15-0 run that cut it to 104-103 with 59 seconds to play. Jarrett Jack burned some clock before driving in and pulling up for a jumper from just outside the lane to push it back to three points. Green responded with a 3-pointer at the other end to cap the comeback and send it to overtime. Courtesy of: chicagotribune.com
