Palma recovered from the a deep halftime deficit to force overtime and eventually defeated Clinican Rincon to even the title series at 2-2. Clinicas Rincon was tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 8-12s. Palma dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Clinicas Rincon's 26 and made 29-of-37 free shots (78.4 percent) during the game. Clinicas Rincon was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Ivan Matemalas (193-80) fired 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Jason Blair (201-79, college: San Diego, agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in 23 points and 9 rebounds. Bosnian-Serbian forward Dejan Todorovic (-94) produced 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Lithuanian forward Tautvydas Sabonis (202-92) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
