Semi-Finals Game 1: Lucentum - Palencia 86-75

Lucentum overcame Palencia to take 1-0 lead in the semis. The game was mostly controlled by Meridiano Alicante. Palencia Baloncesto was better in second period 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Palencia Baloncesto 36-25 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Point guard Albert Sabat (187-85) stepped up and scored 17 points and 4 assists for the winners and American forward Taylor Coppenrath (205-81, college: Vermont) chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Roger Fornas (202-82) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Carles Bravo (193-79) scored 14 points. Four Meridiano Alicante and five Palencia Baloncesto players scored in double figures. Palencia Baloncesto's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
