We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 6th ranked Mineros de Cananea (8-13) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon (8-11) 117-112 on Friday. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 32-21 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon shot 61.8 percent from the field and made 37-of-45 free shots (82.2 percent) during the game, while Mineros de Cananea only scored nineteen points from the stripe. Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 70.6 percentage. The game was dominated by American players.
