Semi-Finals Game 1: PGE Turow - Anwil 79-68

PGE Turow knocked down Anwil to surge ahead in the semis. The game was mostly controlled by PGE Turow. Anwil was better in third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Guinean point guard Russell Robinson (185-86) stepped up and scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and Bosnian-Croatian Ivan Opacak (201-80, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) chipped in 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four PGE Turow players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Marcus Ginyard (196-87, college: N.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) responded with 14 points and the other American import forward Ruben Boykin (201-85, college: N.Arizona) scored 11 points. Anwil's coach Milija Bogicevic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
