The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Orchesien BC (27-7) on the court of thirteenth ranked Angers BC 49 on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Angers BC 49 90-70. The game was mostly controlled by Angers BC 49. Orchesien BC managed to win third quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Angers BC 49 looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Anthony Hill (204-88, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 9 rebounds. Center Maxime Chupin (205-89, college: Cal-Irvine) contributed with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Center Olivier Gouez (217-84) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and American guard Russell Carter (196-85, college: Notre Dame) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Orchesien BC. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Angers BC 49 (16-18) moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with St Chamond. Orchesien BC lost third consecutive game. They still keep top position with seven games lost.
